My photographer, Amy, was really incredible - She had us jump right in, and got me rolling around and posing before I had time to get nervous. She gave great confidence-boosting compliments, commenting on my presence rather than my body, which I really preferred. The photo shoot experience itself was well worth the groupon price, and I was really glad for the accessible experience. The hotel where we did the shoot was really beautiful.

I did my viewing session with Elisabeth - I was upfront with my budget and she was very helpful, personable, and accommodating, even knowing that I wouldn't be getting a large package. She attentively helped narrow down my images, offering input when I asked for it. I felt that I was offered really great customer service.

My favorite part of the experience was an emphasis on body positivity; there was no commentary during the shoot or prioritizing looking thin or hiding my body at all. Everything was positive and geared towards accentuating and embracing myself. They also show the photos without being touched up, which I appreciated, and the default package is one without any airbrushing/bodyshaping/thigh thinning. Really loved the ability to not play into some of our society's more damaging beauty standards.

So I was really wanting to do a boudoir shoot, I've never done it before and I wanted to surprise my fiancé with it as a pre wedding gift. So I found Celebrate Your Sexy.
Booking the photo shoot was so easy, the representative so friendly and extremely helpful. Since the company is based in Washington and I live in California, they have photographers go to your city and the company selects a hotel for you do your photo at.
I was a little worried as to what hotel they would choose, hoping that it wouldn't be some sketchy motel. But they booked a suite at the Sheraton Grand! It was so beautiful.
Time for the shoot: I met with my photographer Lauren. She was absolutely amazing, she made it so much fun and more importantly she made me feel comfortable. I brought my cousin with me so she could help me get dressed and touch my make up if I got oily. There wasn't an entire crew with Lauren just her, which made it really nice to where I didn't feel like I had an audience staring at me. Lauren asked what kind of music I wanted, I asked for Hip Hop. The shoot look about an 1 hour-1.5 hours.
Viewing appointment: Lauren informed to call the company that same day to book my viewing appointment because it gets booked quickly. I was so anxious. Once that day came the appointment ran so smoothly. Kaitlin assisted me in selecting my photos. She was so kind, friendly and very patient with me as I kept wanting re-look at my photos. There were about 90 photos taken and I chose 26. Kaitlin showed me the different pricing for photos, albums and packages. I really wanted an album so I chose the 8x8. I got to choose the color of my album and the material. The photos and the album were so worth the experience and you definitely get what you pay for. They did an excellent job. I can't wait to give my fiancé the album!!! Thank you so much CYS! You guys are awesome.
